Dahlia Tuber Bohemian Spartacus
Bohemian Spartacus is a wonderful dark red dinner plate dahlia. Occasionally will throw some yellow color variations in late summer and fall. I have to say most of mine have been more dark red. Never the less they are show stoppers and excellent in the border and for cut flower arrangements. Plants are very strong and tall, but I still highly recommend staking as the blooms get so large and heavy. I also recommend planting these as early as possible as they take a little longer to bloom, but when they do there are plenty of flowers.
